Fired on site
We cook on site, in front of your guests, in our wood-fired, gas and electric ovens. Each pizza is made to order.
Dough made in-house
Dough made in-house, never frozen. Fresh bases, cooked to order.
Fully self-sufficient
Truck, trailer, power, gazebo and crew. We arrive two hours early and set up around you.
10 to 500 guests
Boxed pizzas, buffet service or the full spread with sides. Priced per head, plainly.
What we do
Event catering, not a takeaway
We are a small family outfit from the Rhondda. Since 2015 we have been rolling our pizza trucks into fields, barns, car parks and village halls across South Wales — and cooking until every guest has had their fill.

Our wrapped van covers public pop-ups, markets and festival pitches. Private bookings are handled here; if you are after our open-to-all trading dates, they live on our sister site.

A little bit more about our service
- Since 2015, The Welsh Italian Pizza Co. has been delighting guests at weddings, parties and other events with our artisan, hand-made pizzas.
- Our trailer-mounted pizza ovens, wood-fired, gas and electric, can be set up where you like and you can leave it to us to serve your choice of Neapolitan pizzas on attractive wooden boards where your guests will be free to help themselves. And we'll keep baking and top up the pizzas so they stay hot and fresh for your guests.
- You can select 4-5 of our popular pizza flavours (veg options included) from our menu.
- Each pizza base has been lovingly prepared by our own, fair hands using “00” flour to give a deliciously light and crispy bite.
- We are fully trained and equipped to deal with all dietary requirements, including vegan (with prior notice).
- If you like, you can have one “Showpiece Pizza” that can be, for example, your fiancé's favourite (but unusual!) flavour or something written in pepperoni!
- We'll need just 1-2 hours to set up and then we bake for 3 hours or until all pizzas are made (whichever comes first).
